Hospitality Logistics Terms & Conditions Minimum Order Quantity Charge: A $75.00 USD Minimum Order Quantity Charge will be charged for ALL orders of less than both of the following conditions; less than 6 sets / 12 pieces and less than $2,500 USD gross sales. SSB also reserves the right to make deliveries for small stops less than 6 sets/12 pieces with a box truck and two-man delivery crew. Product will be delivered to the closest covered spot at the Property (usually a loading dock or receiving door). Freight Charges for large orders: (6 sets/12 pieces or more) Free tailgate delivery within 400 miles of the closest servicing SSB Plant within the contiguous US. At distances over 400 miles, the client will be charged for the incremental mileage over 400 miles at a rate of $2.50 USD per mile per delivery attempt. The Property must be able to safely receive a 53-foot tractor trailer and is responsible for identifying potential hazards. Deliveries requiring equipment other than a standard 53-foot tractor trailer are subject to additional charges (see Special Equipment Charge). Special Equipment Charge: If customer’s property is unable to accommodate standard delivery equipment (53-foot tractor trailer) due to tight or limited parking, low overhanging obstructions, traffic pattern around property, or local city ordinances, arrangements for Special Equipment must be communicated a minimum of five (5) days prior to shipment of the first order. Special attention must be made for Properties in large metropolitan cities, coastal or resort locations, and properties located in mountainous terrain. Any orders with comments or instructions to deliver via a “pup truck” will be considered needing Special Equipment. Upon receiving notice from the Client that Special Equipment is necessary, an SSB Delivery Specialist will provide a quote for services with two (2) business days. Upon written agreement to proceed with special delivery, the Delivery Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and executing delivery to customer and ensuring delivery fees have been collected. SSB reserves the right to determine if a Property can reasonably and safely accommodate a standard 53-foot tractor trailer. If the driver and Plant Transportation Manager deem the Property unsuitable and that the hazard cannot be remedied within two (2) hours of arrival, the driver will return the shipment to the plant. The Client will be assessed a Redelivery Charge (outlined below) and arrangements will be made for Special Equipment. Sales Representatives should review the delivery check list document containing the appropriate questions regarding 53-foot trailer acceptance or special truck required and the delivery day when install-unload crew will be available. Failure to communicate this requirement will result in a Redelivery Charge (see below). Refusal and Redelivery Charge: Any SSB Logistics delivery that is refused in its entirety, not for damage or incorrect product at the point of delivery and due to no fault of SSB or the carrier, will incur a redelivery charge of $250 USD in addition to the applicable costs to redeliver the shipment. No fault refusals may include situations where the Property is not prepared to take beds for any reason on their agreed upon delivery date or it cannot accommodate delivery equipment. Tailgate Services: All deliveries include free tailgate delivery service requiring the driver to bring product to the back of our trailer. Drivers are required to use safe handling practices moving mattresses and will ask for assistance from the customer, when possible, moving heavier items. If no help is available, drivers are required to use small dollies to move mattresses safely. Due to the risk of injury and/or damage to the product, tailgate services do not include unassisted lifting or stacking product onto a cart or pallet. Drivers are required to process returns of first quality goods with a valid RMA into the trailer. Drivers will refuse any previously used bedding. Delivery Inspection Protocol: Upon arrival, SSB Logistics requires that all products delivered be inspected by the client or a designated agent. All discrepancies must be identified at time of delivery. Discrepancies include overages, shortages and damages (OS&D) and must be clearly marked on the Bill of Lading. Claims filed after delivery that were not indicated on the bill of lading will NOT be honored. Damaged or incorrect product should be refused at delivery. Hospitality property is responsible for removal and disposal of all previously owned bedding. Outside Delivery Charge: All deliveries include free tailgate delivery service. The Client may request the driver to handle pieces outside the trailer a minimum of five (5) days prior to shipment. If plant can accommodate request, an Outside Delivery Charge will be applied at a rate of $50 USD per hour, with a minimum charge of $100 USD. Under no circumstances are drivers to bring product inside the Property. Delivery services do not include removal or disposal of previously used beds. Drop Trailer & Mileage Charges: If a drop trailer program has been established between client and SSB Logistics in advance of delivery, no additional mileage charges will be applied. Trailers will be allowed one (1) week free time. Additional time will result in a Drop Trailer Charge at a rate of $20 USD per trailer per day. In the event a client requires a trailer to be dropped unexpectedly during delivery, an additional Mileage Charge will be applied to round trip miles between delivery location and the SSB plant location at a rate of $2.50 USD per mile. A signed Drop Trailer Agreement is required in all cases. Order Changes: All order changes (quantity, address, date) must be sent in writing a minimum of 10 (ten) business days prior to the designated ship date. Verbal requests are not accepted. This time is required to ensure the correct special materials are on hand to make quality hospitality bedding products. In the case of a change that is not communicated to SSB in the prescribed time parameters, we reserve the right to charge for extra costs. Those charges will be 15% of the order total or $200 USD, whichever is greater. Requests for changes to orders after production has commenced will not be accepted! 26 MATTRESS SET RESOURCE
